TWO-DAY TRIP OVERVIEW

Are you a big music lover? Don't miss a thing on this incredible journey all about Tennessee music icons! Spend two days with an expert local guide and luxury transportation traveling the Music Highway from Nashville to Memphis, then back to Nashville. Get a personal tour of Johnny Cash's farm, including his farmhouse full of Johnny's personal items, the American Garage housing his 'One Piece at at Time' automobile, and much more. Travel down the road for lunch at Loretta Lynn's Kitchen for a southern home-cooked meal, then drive to her scenic ranch for the museum and guided mansion tour. You'll see an exact replica of her Butcher Holler cabin, and even the famous Crisco kitchen. 

Continue down Music Highway to the Tina Turner Museum, housed in her original one-room schoolhouse from Nutbush, Tennessee. See original Tina artifacts, plus displays on other West TN artists like Sleepy John Estes and Carl Perkins. Keep on cruising and arrive in Memphis, home of the Blues, Soul, and Rock & Roll. Check into your hotel of choice, freshen up, and get ready for Beale Street. Stroll the district and take in the happening clubs. Then hit BB King's, named for the influential blues giant, and enjoy an outstanding live band and the best ribs ever! (Feel like dancing? That's what we're talking about!) After a fun evening, head back to the hotel for a good night's sleep, and get ready to roll in the morning.

Depart your hotel, drive historic Main Street, and stop for a hearty breakfast at the Arcade, a long-standing Memphis institution. See other sites in the area including the Lorraine Motel and the Mississippi River. Pop into the beautiful Peabody Hotel, grab a seat in the lounge, and wait for the world-famous March of the Peabody Ducks to begin. Travel down Union Avenue and get a guided tour of the one and only Sun Studio, where artists like Elvis and Johnny Cash recorded for the very first time. 

Take Highway 51 South and behold Graceland, home of The King! Take the Elvis Entourage VIP tour, including the mansion, airplanes, and full entertainment complex. Have lunch on the property, everything from burgers to BBQ to peanut butter and banana sandwiches. Head back downtown to explore the unexplainable Bass Pro Pyramid (you just have to see it). Ride the elevator 300 feet up for spectacular views of the Mississippi River, and enjoy a dinner experience at The Lookout restaurant and bar. Hop aboard your vehicle to travel the Music Highway one last time, and return to Nashville. You've done it all! Tennessee music icons will always live on, and so will the incredible memories you've made!
