TOUR OVERVIEW
Experience the life of a Nashville songwriter! Step across the Songwriter Walk of Fame at Music City Center, go "where the music began" to learn the songwriting lore of Tootsie's Orchid Lounge, and take in other downtown music sites. Get a driving tour of Music Row's historic studios, publishing houses, record labels, PRO's, etc. Enter an official writer's room on Music Row. There will be a keyboard, guitar, paper, and pens on hand (you may bring your own laptop or ipad, that's optional). Your songwriter / tour guide will share a few originals, then collaborate with you to write your very own original song. Share your ideas, learn the basics, and see how your lyrics transform into song structure, then into music. 

Don't worry, there's a lunch break! Songwriting is hard work, so visit the Row Kitchen & Pub for some grub. It's a shrine to some of Nashville's biggest hit songwriters ever, and you'll be inspired! Now back to the writer's room. You've toiled all day to craft this masterpiece, now finish it up and practice it for the world to hear. Venture down to the world famous Bluebird Cafe where every hit songwriter in the universe has played. Learn the venue's history and get a photo from the outside. Feeling brave?? We'll perform and video record your new song right out front. Congratulations, now you're a Nashville songwriter AND you've played at the Bluebird Cafe!

9:00 AM Depart from your Nashville location
9:05 AM Music history sightseeing tour begins, historic sites of downtown and Music Row

10:00 AM Enter a writer's room for song cowriting session
12:30 PM Lunch at The Row Kitchen & Pub
1:30 PM Song cowriting session continues
4:00 PM Depart writer's room

4:15 PM Bluebird Cafe on the outside for history, photo op, and perform your new song

5:00 PM Return to your Nashville location
