DAY TRIP OVERVIEW

This relaxing road trip will give you an authentic taste of Tennessee! You'll love driving through the hills and hollers of our beautiful state. Take the scenic highway to Lynchburg where you'll experience a guided tour and tasting at the nation's oldest registered distillery, Jack Daniel's.

On our 90 minute drive to Moore County, I'll tell you about the area and what makes this part of Tennessee unique. Stroll around the town square visiting Lynchburg Hardware & General Store and other fun shops. Indulge in an exquisite southern feast at Miss Mary Bobo's Restaurant, where a charming local historian shares the meal family style with you and other diners. 

After lunch, check into the distillery and browse the spirits at White Rabbit Bottle Shop, where custom bottle etching is available, the perfect gift! Begin the Jack Daniel's Distillery tour and learn all about Tennessee whiskey. You'll join a small group for an informative 2-hour behind-the-scenes glimpse into their whiskey making process. Hear fascinating stories as you walk the grounds with a passionate representative. After the tour, visit the tasting room for samples of up to 5 of their fabulous products. 

Finally, visit the grave of Jack Daniel and say farewell to Lynchburg. On the way back to Nashville, you can elect to detour to Nearest Green Distillery for whiskey flights, or to Arrington Vineyards for flights or bottles of their local wine. 

ITINERARY

9:00 AM Depart from your Nashville location

10:30 AM Arrive and stroll the charming town square of Lynchburg, Tennessee

10:55 AM Check in at Miss Mary Bobo's Restaurant for 11 AM lunch

12:15 PM Check in at Jack Daniel's Distillery, Browse White Rabbit Bottle Shop, bottle etching available to be ready when tour ends

12:30 PM Jack Daniel Distillery tour and tasting begins

2:30 PM Depart, visit the grave of Jack Daniel

2:45 PM Depart and detour to Nearest Green Distillery (arrive at 3:15) or Arrington Vineyards (arrive at 3:45)

5:00 PM Return to your Nashville location
