Get a comprehensive history of Nashville and learn what makes it one of the most popular destinations in America. 

Hear how the settlement began at Ft. Nashborough and the old City Wharf. Take in the Honky Tonk Highway, Ryman Auditorium, Printer's Alley, and other spots where music legends made their marks. Travel through Legistlative Plaza and Bicentennial Park for a taste of Tennessee history. Enjoy antique autos, art, whiskey, or moonshine at Marathon Village. 

Venture out to West End, home of Vanderbilt University, Centennial Park and our beloved Parthenon. Loop through Music Row, where Nashville's iconic recording studios, publishers, and record labels line the avenues. Swing through the Gulch where modern structures and murals meet bluegrass and jazz. BACKGROUND AND TOUR REQUESTS

Guests are from Ohio, staying at Gaylord Opryland hotel. From Sharon- I’m taking the 6 of us to the Historic Downtown for shopping, to the Country Music Hall of Fame, the RCA Studio B tour, General Jackson cruise/show, and Nashville Nightlife Dinner Theater.  They asked about seeing some “homes of the stars”, but I told them mostly it’s “driveways to the stars homes”, haha, since they naturally want their privacy and hide their houses pretty well in most cases.  Also the Pastor asked about seeing the “largest church in Nashville”... I think it might be called the Cornerstone Church or Mt. Zion Baptist (??) (my mistake – it’s “Christ Church Nashville” on Hickory Blvd, not the cathedral – and it’s not the largest, just one of the largest – it’s also not a “must-see” by any means.  Just thought it’d be nice to point it out if we happen to be going by it).  Otherwise, just a highlights visit of the main things – I suppose you could ask them what they want to see as a general question, but we will trust your expertise for most of it, if not all.  And if this helps, we are all senior citizens (so won’t even know who most of the younger stars names are), but we’re very mobile and active, and love to have fun, as you will see -lol.
